I saw the blurb from P¡nk saying "Read this F*#@ing book!" and I was like whaaaaatttt!? OK! I love her and haven't seen her blurb a book before. SHE WAS CORRECT IN HER BOSSINESS. I know so many people that are over the yoga instructor, self-help, spiritual transformation woowooness, so I was expecting it to be all pain and suffering and then butterflies and saving and fakery, but it isn't that at all!Jen's experiences are told in such a genuinely human way without shiny sprinkles and the unrealistic idea of absolutely overcoming depression, hearing loss and anorexia. It's about how she moved through it all *with* her struggles, and still does struggle. Her sense of humor and wit pulls the reader in to her world through our own because we are all human and don't just get over the B.S. and be saved. We continue to do the work, laugh at ourselves, say yes even though we want to hide, and support each other.This book is for everyone. Seriously.
